Ms. Krista Santos

Krista holds a Bachelor of Music Degree with Performance Honors and a Master of Music Education Degree both from Syracuse University. Her primary instrument is the saxophone. Krista performed and traveled with the Syracuse University Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Saxophone Ensemble, and Stage Band. She has also performed in many pit orchestras and with the Charleston County Community Band. Krista’s instructors include Dr. Ronald Caravan (a major figure in advanced saxophone and clarinet techniques) and Dr. Roger Eckers (a Rush-Henrietta Teacher of the Year).

Krista taught grades 4 -12 Instrumental Music in Windham, NY for one year. She also taught grades 6-8 band and assisted with the Wando High School Marching band in Mt Pleasant, South Carolina for one year. Krista is currently a substitute teacher in many local school districts t and is a member of the Perinton Concert Band. Krista works hard to spread her passion for music to her students. She currently offers private saxophone, clarinet, flute, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone, tuba, and percussion lessons at All Stars Talent, Inc. and works as a crew member aboard the Colonial Belle.
